help me please!

I am running windows ME, pentium II, integrated video(in other words, my comp sucks). so, i present you with my problem: my computer works perfectly, except for the fact that everytime i access My Computer, I get a blue screen or expierience a hard lockup. Ad Aware yields no results, Mcafee has no surprise revelations in the form of viruses or worms. i have tried multiple times to access My Documents.

Hey man, you should just go back to windows 98 if you still have it, 10 times better than ME. If you don't just buy one at a store or ebay, it's like 10-25 bucks. And if you don't want to do that then go to linux's site, they have a bunch of free os's (look up fadora project on google).

I've always recommended Mandrake as a nice easy Linux distro for newbs as it's a fairly easy OS but 2 weeks ago I decided to try somthing new and now I'm proud to recommend Suse! shes a great little OS and much more friendlier then Mandrake :-). Although I'm certain you'd prob not want to stray far from what you know ;-).
