Help me shave $136

Hello everyone! I need your help once again. It is that time to build a new computer but I need help shaving $136 if possible! The only non-debatable items are the processor and the case. Also FYI, I know I don't have a video card on the list. I will be purchasing this at a later date. Shipping is really killing me since I am military overseas shipping is $156!!!!!!!!! My budget is only $1700. So please, if you can, give me a hand! Also, if you see something that I may of missed it please feel free to point it out, all comments and opinions are highly appreciated.

And what will you be doing with this computer? This seems way overkill and you should be able to cut a lot of money out of it.
 
John, thanks for the reply. I like to do a lot of video editing, streaming games and movies. I am also using it as my Entertainment System for my family. I will streaming movies from the computer to the TV using Warpia. Also I do a lot with Adobe Photoshop. Basically I really want to future proof it, reason for the LGA 2011 socket. I know if I didn't go with that processor it would be a heck of a lot cheaper! I build a new computer every 4 years.

I bought the case from Amazon.com

Good news! I save $107 switching.. Can you believe Newegg would charge me $107 to ship the case? It is complete non-sense. I am in the works of moving my entire Newegg cart to Amazon, everything is free shipping, this is going to save me at least $200. I would suggest everyone check out amazon before ordering. The shipping will save you a ton!!

Please keep the feedback coming on the current build.
 
Why do you need to spend so much on a motherboard? You probably could do with one half that much.
 
Just get a 3770K and a Z77 board (GA-Z77X-UD3H or UD5H would be fine). That'll save more than 136 bucks I reckon and you'll still have great performance.
 
Could save some money on the case. Honestly I think it looks gaudy. Could get a NZXT Phantom/Switch 810 or Silverstone Raven and save almost 100 bucks.
 
I agree with the above.

In addition to getting a cheaper case such as the NZXT Phantom (that's my recommendation by the way) and a 3770K with a Z77 board, you should save well over 100 bucks.
 
Case - Do you really need full tower? ATX-Mid tower usually do the job.
If you want it white, try NZXT phenom, Corsair 500R, 600T

SSD - I suggest going for Samsung 840 Pro instead

CPU & Motherboard - Could go for i7 3770K with Z77

By the way, as you said you are military overseas, do you need to move around quite often? Have you consider one of those mini-itx gaming build? Or get micro-itx motherboard such that get a smaller case?

Lol, I see a lot of money to be saved here, and still get the same performance. But it seems like the OP is pretty set on everything that needs to be changed. So, nvm.
