Help me to assess the computer

I am trying to build the computer. Could you please have a look at it, and comment?

I found it in the internet for about $370.

I will also be grateful if you could give me a good configuration that costs about $500.

Does anybody know the difference between 15'' LCD and 17'' LCD ? (Safety, how it influences eyes, and so on...)

For $370 you're getting what you paid for i guess but you an probably do better if you hit up the AMD setups. For $500 have a look at:

XP2500
A7V8X-X
512MB cheapo
80GB cheapo
case and enermax PSU
Pioneer107/NEC25010 (or hell even just a cd burner)
best video card you can cram into the rest

WHat are you using the comp for?

perhaps a SATA drive and faster RAM?

id get the amd system over a celeron based system anyday though

For that low budget, SATA is not really a feasible option. Not sure about PC27/32 and PC16/21 compatability

id splash the tenner or whatever for a SATA, not too much difference

Its not the drives but rather the mobo.
