help me uninstall nero 7 demo please

i installed nero 7 demo and want to go back to my trusty ner0 6 . only thing is everytime i try to uninstall nero 7 i get this error
shellmanager database is corrupt or missing
and it wont let me uninstall nero 7
please help me
