Help me upgrade my Video Card

Would really like some help choosing between these two cards for a christmas gift ( to myself :) )

Gainward BLISS 9800GT Golden Sample - 1 GB
XFX GeForce 9800 GTX+ - 512 MB
I apologize for not posting more information but I am sure I will just miss-translate them. But check the link everything is there.
Basically I have to choose between a video card with large memory (1Gb) or a video card with 512 Mb but faster card.

Also wondering since I will have to buy a new PSU if there is anything to think about except 1. it Physically fits and 2. It has enough Wattage. Like for example can it fry my mothermoard if they are not compatible or, something along those lines.
 
i would shoot for a 4850/4870 golden sample, those things are killer, if i had to choose between those two, it would be the gtx, because you can probably get it to clock a little higher. oh, and what wattage is your current psu?
 
Thanks I will check them out. My current psu is only 305 W but that is irrelevant since I am gonna buy a new 550 W Corsair.
