Help me with booting?

Hey! I just bought a 320 gb hdd. I wanted to upgrade from the old 60 and 80 gb hdds that I was swapping. I have it partitioned into 3 parts. I am working on getting windows XP onto my first partition. I booted up from a GParted CD and copied all of the files from the old one to the new one. (Literally all of the files.) When I tried to boot I ran into this problem: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/330184 But I fixed it. Now, when I boot, it comes up with a light blue screen. It goes all the way past "loading your personal settings" and just loads the blue screen my mouse is there. And it does nothing when I hit CTL+ALT+DEL. How do I get it to load?!

Thanks!

EDIT- the part where it says Microsoft windows and has the bar under it seems to load to quickly

You can't just copy files, you actually have to clone the old drive to the new one as it will copy everything even hidden files which is what you are missing.

I had them enabled, but I am now going to clone it for simplicity. When I used the WD program, it said I have to delete all of my partitions before cloning. Is there another program that will allow me to clone it without touching other partitions?

You should be able to clone partition to partition. So if your have a 60 gb original partition, you should be able to clone that into a 100gb partition on your new drive.

It won't let me. I would think so too, but it won't let me.
