i have this case http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16811208009 came with one inrake fan and one exhaust. i added a pc slot exhaust below my vga and a fan that sits ontop of my video card, its suspended by rubber studs on the bottom of the card which is facing up, also there is a fan attached to the heatsink and i added a fan that is blowing on the side of the heatsink, my question is can i adjust these fans any other way to make cooling better? im doing custom mounting
can you post a picture of your PC, open.....like that we can really tell what would be a good setup. One thing to look for, not interuption. don't put fans here and there, since it will simply put your pc into a turmoil. try having a 'wind' direction, a curent. Most likely, you will get a current that starts form the front of the PC (down) that will go over your video card, near your CPU (perhaps) and out your back....
So please post a pic of your computer, and state where the fans are....that will help us.
btw, your case is quite nice!
I am kind of a "fan-a-holic" when it comes to cases.
My case temps were consistently at 47 deg and my core (AMD 64 X2 4200) was at around 49 deg. Yesterday I added the fan you see mounted on the Plexiglass. After adding this fan my case temps constiantly hold at around 34 deg and my core temp at 37 deg. A total drop of about 10 deg.
I have 9 fans total in the case. I have one up front sucking air in and one in the back blowing out. The one on the side is blowing out also. Having a fan near the top really helps a lot. Hot air rises and is sucked out of the case instead of stagnating up there.
