i am having an old P-3 computer whose RAM has got corrupted. Now i am using a laptop and feel that my laptop's is overloaded with programs. Since the programs are important for me so in no case i'm going to uninstall them. So is there is any way that i can use my old desktop's HDD as an extenal USB drive for my laptop. please sugest me.

Yes there is. Since the old desktop is a Pentium 3, I believe, the hard drive is an IDE drive.
What you have to do, is go and buy an IDE external enclosure, like these.
You can connect that then, by usb, to your laptop.
