HELP! Monitor not responding to my custom PC

It's possible but try the things that jamesd1981 mentioned then see if you can grab another GPU from someone else to test.

It could be motherboard, processor or graphics card that is why you need test so you don`t send back a working component as they will then hold you liable for postage.

i think the mobo is working because all the fans work (which are plugged into the mobo) and all the lights work. This leaves the CPU and the GPU, and of the two i think because the monitor is getting no signal at all it must be the GPU. Are these accurate deductions?

I think salvage asked earlier but do you get any error beep codes when you start the computer, you should have got a small speaker that connects to motherboard beside your case connections.

Well i can only say in my experience the only time I have got no error beeps at all has been with a faulty cpu.

Your best option now would be to either try another graphics card in your machine or the better option if possible is to try your card in another working machine.

I would contact the retailer first, most retailers will charge you postage for any item you send back that turns out not to be faulty.

I ordered from novatech, and have emailed them expressing my wishes to return both the GPU and the CPU. Hopefully if I order two new items my pc will work :D

If you can return both for an exchange and cost you nothing thats great, but be sure to confirm what i said about postage for any items found not to be faulty.
