Help! Motherboard making weird noise!

I just replaced my mother board and I built the pc myself.

The new board is a Abit SG-72 and i got it used from a company online.

There is a noise coming from the board (top left corner near cpu) if i move my mouse or scroll using the keyboard or if the cpu is loading something. Its NOT coming from hard drives, powersupply,or internal/external speakers. Mostly does it when im online.

I also replaced the power supply with a new one: Dynex 400 watt bought new online.

Noise sounds like when you access the hard drive but louder.
Only noticed second day of using it.

Computer was working great besides that and it was actually really faster BEFORE downloading updates after already installing windows xp sp3.

Help.....!

I took my whole computer apart, changed cpu heatsink, repapply more paste..... then put it all back together, then found that my monitor cable was not seated all the way. Im not sure yet if the noise is gone yet or that was part of the problem or not.

Time to go test it out....

Update: the noise is still there but not as loud, would still like to get rid of all the board noise or i'll have to get a loud fan to mask the weird sounds.

Just put a new faster P4E/1/800 3.2ghz processor in and its very very fast.
And put my new heatsink and fan back on plus added heatsink cream again.

Motherboard Noise is very little now, but if anybody still has ideas feel free to tell me...
