Help! My Hard Rive Is Failing!

I did a smart test on it cuz it makes an ocational noise. like a pencil tapping on wood with about, 7 second intervals. the thing is. its only does that for a shot time, and then i almost never hear it again. i have my comptuer on all the time. it is a 500GB samsung, the one one newegg that one 2 awords.
 
Please help! its a $120 HDD and i need to know how to fix it before its too late!!! I have so many games on there that i just cant aford to lose!!! i scared. :(

PS: the smart test told to it was an emergency and that i should back up all file imediently. I DONT HAVE A BACK UP HARD DRIVE FOR THIS!!! OMG PLEASE HELP!
 
There's nothing you can do but get a new one. SMART is very hit and miss though. It may say the drive is about to fail and it wont die for years or it could die within minutes.

buy another 500gb, ghost it.

Get a spindle of dvds and burn the stuff you need then get the drive replaced. I don't think you can get a refund for it after a month so buying a new one when you should be able to get a free replacement is kind of silly. Generally they wont send you the new one so you can copy the data off first so you probably can't ask them to do that.
 
some single files that are very dear to me are too big to fit on a normal DVD. and the dual layor are too expencive. :(
