Lots to think about here, good one to start off with is your budget. Then what will the main uses of the hardware? Gaming, web, movies/films, etc...

Also would the mobility of the laptop really be needed, are you on the move all the time?

I really wan't a laptop because it's wireless and Bigger chance it will fit my desk but I want a powerful machine help....
If this really is just down to space then maybe have a look at some micro ATX hardware? That way you will still have the option to upgrade in the future.

Or if you have a big budget then maybe get both?? Or a decent PC then a cheap laptop or vise versa.

Gaming Film's web home work and you will not beleive how much im on the move;) and I cannot get two. Honestly you think my parents would pay. Budget 3,000 euros. The PC Is 2,800 Eurosthe laptop is 2,700 Euros. Can't get 2

When I first wanted a new PC I went through this as well. I really wanted a laptop because space is very tight in my house, but the desire and ability to upgrade, and the lower price for equal performance specs for a desktop won out. I made the space to accomodate a desktop and have never regretted it.

So you think pc? Ar u sure.;) my cousin said laptop. And plus i'm now never at home because I go to collage. And I'm staying in a apartment

Or maybe I'll get a desktop. Actually I think I will get a desktop. Due to when like the Nvidia 10,800GTX comes out I can buy it and put it in with my new 1,000WATT PSU

i think the desktop u should totally get, easier to upgrade and cheaper to fix than a laptop and also easier to, but the desktop would be way more faster in doing things, so i think the desktop is best choice, and get a new desk for it too lol

A laptop will be slower then a desktop no matter what, also they get hotter and they dont last as long.
As far as desk space goes set the computer on the floor all you need on you desk and KB, mouse and monitor.

I would only buy a laptop if i was going to move it around alot and it would never expect it take the place of my Tower pc for gameing.
