Hi, I've just upgraded my internet to a higher speed, but unfortunately it also comes with a bandwidth limitation as to how much I can download in a month. This isn't a big deal considering I don't often download huge files, but I do tend to download TV series, so I don't want to have to worry about it.
However, I have started monitoring my bandwidth usage, and an annoying problem came to my attention. I am always downloading at around 10kb/s. I've come to the conclusion that Windows or some other program is automatically downloading something, but I can't figure out what it is. Since 10kb/s equates to around 25 gb per month if I leave my computer on all the time, and that is half of my monthly allowance, I really want to fix this problem.
Does anyone have any info on why this happens, or what processes are connected to the internet constantly? Intensive internet searching yielded no results.
Any help will be greatly appreciated.
P.S. - I'm using Windows 7 x64 Pro.
