Help -My Son's Birthday

First I have to say I know absolutely nothing about LCD computer monitors .

I ordered a BenQ E2200W 22IN LCD MONITOR for my son for his birthday .251.00 I just received an e-mail from the store I ordered from.

Unfortunately the manufacturer has discontinued the unit you have ordered. But I was able to find a new model as a replacement. The price for this unit is $273.00 and ground shipping charge is free inside the U.S. I've provided the spec. Would you please take look at it? Please let me know if you are interested in it as a replacement? BenQ G2200W LCD Monitor

Is this a decent monitor ? Does anyone have any suggestions ?

It seems kind of expensive for a 22" lcd, and BenQ isn't an ideal brand. However, by no means is it a bad deal, or a terrible monitor.
 
I have a suggestion, search for the store that offers the cheapest Pixel-guarantee. Then look on their site for the cheapest 22inch monitor and take it. I am doing the exact same, planning on letting the monitor run 24/7 for the first week so I will be sure that every potential dead (sub)pixel will have passed by in the first week (guarantee with this shop only costs 10 euro's and lasts for one week).

I am getting some "AMW" 22inch widescreen monitor.
 
Thanks for everyones help . The company called me and told me they would sell me the BenQ G2200W for the same price as the E2200W . 251.00 plus free shipping .

This company has been very helpful to me .

First my paypal did not go through because I had an old address that did not match the shipping address and now they matched the price for the money I had paid .

Thanks for the recommendation of the SAMSUNG 2220WM . They sell this one too but the deal was so muddled I did not want screw it up anymore than it already was .
