Hi People
I wonder if you can help, I am trying to install windows without using the cd or usb drive, instead using files that I have copied to the hard disk ( its one partition just now, but this can be changed if needed)
For some reason the bios will not let me boot to anything else but the hard disk, tied everything, and after some googleing it appears this is a common fault with the bios I have.
Any way, I have tired installing windows on a another machine and putting in the hard disk, that does not work
I have tired just copying the install cd to the hard disk , but that does not work
All I want to do in install xp on the machine
Does anyone know how this is done, I am guessing i need to write some file that tells windows to install the installation files from the cd that I have copied to my hard disk
I hope this makes sense to you
