help needed in building my PC

i am building up my own PC (for 60% Gaming and 40% word processing)
and i have a budget of between £1100-£1500. i need this to be completely built from scratch and any feedback before i take the plunge would be greatly appreciated.

compatability is an issue and aesthetics isn't you don't have to recommend sites because i can get wholesale prices but the actual components listed would be great

thats pretty specific...i dont know how you can claculate numbers like that, but thats beside the point. if i were you, i would go with (generally speaking) an AMD, at least one gig of ram, and at least a 128mb gpu. im not entirely sure what the conversion would be to usd, but im sure you can get a fairly decent setup on that budget.
 
the comp in my sig totalled to £1400.
now, you can get most of the parts cheaper. So for your budget you are looking at a very nice system indeed.
you want to go amd or intel?

i agree, but go with more than 128mb gpu, at least 256mb, if it were me with that budget, hell id go for a 512mb gpu

it is a very good case for the price... i personally really like it... i like the gouges, and that fan fontrol thingy in the features
