Help needed in choosing a motherboard and a case for a gaming rig

Never said either of those statements. But some cooler masters do suck at cable management. As far as the Corsair. If someone whats to wipe there case off three times a day to keep it from looking like it was drug down a dirt road, thats up to them.

Yes there is a really bad dust problem with the Corsair Graphite series and same thing with the Cooler Master HAF series.I need to clean the dirt/dust of my computer like every hour.
But the corsair Obsidian do not have that problem, so if in budget it is definitely a case to consider,

And Lian Li do make awesome cases.

@jonnyp -
and from everything i've heard these seem to be some of the best cases sense none of the other like mihir and others normally will put something like these and have never said to me hey, those aren't good brands or they have horrid cable management.
I usually do not read your replies, I usually skip through them.
But yes I like the Corsair Graphite series.

wow, thanks mihir, and taking that sig out of context makes it look extremely stupid, in the context for the question it did make sense, although while writing i knew it was going to sound stupid, i was just trying to get the point across that high % alcohol is used to clean the cpu of thermal paste as it creates the cleanest surface for the optimal transfer of heat when replacing the paste.

maybe someone should read more carefully :P

and for the other part, i know every brand has duds, but everyone seams to love the haf series, and they look great too, and the way your were speaking made it seem like you almost hated both, but upon rereading seems more like the hate/dislike/aggrevation was meant for something else , hey, that's rude :P

What makes you think I didnt know there was a black one, thats not what we are talking about now is it?

And I didnt say all Cooler Masters had bad cable management, did you see the word (some)

omg, point was i posted the white but told him of the black if he didn't want to clean it every once and a while which was your main complaint about that or something, and for the second part, where did i say you said all cooler masters were bad, read again and see that i said all brands have duds, not all cooler masters are duds.

and for the dust issue, look up ways of removing static electricity and that should prolong the gap between cleans from just regular dust settling, i know i need to for my apex vortex 3620, when i turn it on i wipe it off, 10-30 mins later the same amount of dust is back, still like the looks of the case for the 35 i got it for instead of the 50 norm.

Easy on the arguing dudes. I don't want this thread hijacked.

What is that, about 350 bucks US?

GIGABYTE GA-Z68X-UD4-B3 or GIGABYTE GA-Z68XP-UD3P

and

LIAN LI Lancool PC-K62 or LIAN LI Lancool PC-K63 or NZXT TEMPEST EVO

What are the advantages of the mobos you mention over the Asus P8Z68-V?

Why do you prefer Lian Li Lancool over CM 690 II?

asus has been having some issues with doa and not so good support lately from what i've heard, and gigabyte has always been one of the best brands, for the case, lian li is apparently the best quality case and great cable management too.

DOA means that the component is broken when you receive it?

What makes the lian li better quality than the CM 690 II?

lian li is just of higher quality in general, idk about the specific models of each, every brand has some duds and some great successes, but the main thing i like lian li over that one is looks, not too big on lian li looks but i do like them more than that one, why don't you just find the best looking case in your opinion you can find and we will try to find a good brand model in your price range that suits your liking.
