Help Needed Please

i have a small problem with windows vista, when i want to use the search function for files and folders i keep getting this error saying

The file does not have a program associated with it for performing this action. Create an association in the set associations control panel

how can i fix this problem thanks
 
Is that the search error, or when you go to open a file using the search feature??

Sounds like your trying to open a file and you don't have the correct program for it :cool:

i think its the error, its when you want to search for a file or folder, and you can search your whole computer for it,
