help needed please

i was wondering if anybody on here knows were i can download lan (Local Area Network) drivers as i recntly bought computer of my mate and it dont have any.
Any help regarding this subject would be great thanks

LOL, nah it's not enough, download THIS and run it, it will clearly point out the mobo you're using on the Mainboard tab.
Just google the Mainboard drivers... for example "Asus P5N73-Cm drivers"

Look at the manufacturers site. The drivers should be under support.

google shows nothing, please run the program patrick posted and read what it says under the "mainboard" tab in the motherboard square.

Go the asus site and look for drivers for that model. Then download the lan one.

Uninstall that driver. What O/S are you using?

Go here:

http://support.asus.com/download/download.aspx?SLanguage=en-us

For the product, select motherboard

For the series, select Socket A (462)

Then select A7N266-VM

Select your O/S

Select others, then download the combined driver files (25.54MB)

That should install your audio, lan and chipset drivers.

i have now downloaded the things posted but know am left with a rar file which when i click on tells me to download somethig called winzip :confused. com lol
