Anyway, liekly the wrong place for this, but here goes anyway.

I was cleaning my computer.. had it all turned off and unplugged... you know, common sense there.

Anyway, cleaned all the dust out of the fans, all off the fans... plugged everything back in afterwards... the computer turns on for about five seconds, you can see and hear the fans start... then they all stop and the computer powers down.

I need help! I ran to my friend's house and jacked his computer just to get it.

Pleeease!

Well, everything, I had to move the whole tower jsut to get into the case at a decent angle, nothing inside the case though, other then the screws that hold the one fan in place... the CPU fan I think, I dunno. I'm a dumbass with computers...

But I took that fan off to get at the dust behind it, then put it back...

I would not unplug the fans and power it up, CPUs get pretty hot fast! Are you sure you pluged the CPU fan back in, plus the boards 4 pin power connector

You should have kept the power cord in and then grounded yourself by touching the power supply, Otherwise you run the chance of frying components through ESD; electric static discharge. I see the system is fine now but remember that for next time! :D
