Help Needed - Suse Linux 10.1

I just installed suse linux 10.1 on my VM machine.Runs fine.I'm running windows xp and my internet connection comes through USB (a cable modem).

1 -How do i get linux to identify my device (USB Cable modem not Ethernet)
and get access to the internet ?

and

2- How do i make it see my Other Hard drives which i have my stuffs on.

got it (at least 1 of em)

I manage to get the internet working through USB and Ethernet.ok now.
Now to figure out how to search for additional harddrives.

Any help will be appreciated.

Do the harddrives have stuff on them or are they empty? If they have stuff on 'em are they using NTFS, FAT, FAT32, Reiser or any other filesystem?

All my Hard drives is NTFS.ya they have my music,software and docs.Any idea how i make suse see it.

I think SuSe can only read 'em. Not write on 'em like in Windows XP.
