sorry if i posted under a wrong genre but please reply.

Hi there , i just joined this forum because i have been completely frustrated for the past one month with alot of spyware on my laptop
i have a toshiba satellite 2400.its great and everything but about a month ago it was attacked by spyware and i cant get rid of it.the spyware is
a kind of a trojan horse and has already affected many other computers (i did some research) , what it does is run some exe's in my process menu in
the task manager called 'CCDRIVE32.EXE or MSVMCLS64.EXE or sometimes just random numbers like 110.exe , 220.exe ,600.exe e.t.c' and what these
exe's somehow do is that they totally turn off my internet browsing , i can ping google.com but if i try to open it with any browser i cant open it and i get different
errors like the page cannot be found or internal communication error.so i did what anyone would do which was to install a spyware software over my previous AVG antivirus
(which was installed and fully updated even when the spyware attacked). so i installed 'SUPERantispyware' and i bought its full version and everytime i searched it deleted the
spyware but it restarted itself in the taskmanager just moments later without even being noticed by the spyware, i got fed up with it and then bought a full version of 'PC tools spyware doctor' which supposivly is the best software out there and everytime i do a scan it shows 251 infections , i clean all of them and yet again ccdrive32.exe and other exes start themselves in my task manager and cannot be ended by ending process or ending process tree.i have reinstalled windows many times and still i get the same spyware after some time , this happened to my desktop pc too, so i barely have internet , all the spywares and the antivirus is not helping me.the spyware shows 251 infections each and everytime i scan my computer and now after sometime of using my computer i get like an internal error which turns off my taskmanager and other windows services like run , cmd , and even explorer, messes up all the boxes and stuff , i cant turn off or anything. please help im in desperate need of an advice that will help.hope to hear from someone soon.btw there is no problem with my internet service provider as my brother uses the same connection along with a couple of my friends and he never got a spyware like this even though he doesnt even have an antivirus.

Ok, lets start out by running combofix. Please download the program and follow the insructions on this page. You may have to download it on another computer and transfer it with a usb flash drive.

http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/combofix/how-to-use-combofix

After running combofix please follow the instructions on this page and run both programs and post the logs.

http://www.computerforum.com/131398-important-please-read-before-posting.html

Please download the the version listed on the right for hijackthis. The one on the left is a beta version, so don't use that one.

So when you come back I need the logs from all 3 programs and an update on how your computer is running.

Thanks

i really appreciate your reply , i really do but after such a long time i solved my problem by borrowing my mates new NOD32 4.0 retail.it sped up my laptop and has stopped all the spyware from doing anything stupid , my internet is working better than ever , ccdrive32.exe still runs in the process menu but i can end it whenever i want and even if i dont nod32 doesnt let it do anything malicious.everytime i googled ccdrive32.exe it always came up with solutions like superantispyware or malwarebites and many other softwares but the truth is that none of these work, i recommend a fully fledged loaded anti spyware+virus+malware such as mcafee, nod32 or even norton which is the only way to fix this kind of attack.thanks again for your reply.will stick around to help others if i can :good: :good:

Ok, whatever. You'll be back later for help. There are hidden infections you know...

lol dont worry

naah it didnt completely remove them cuz it wasnt updating properly so i fully updated it and VOILA! all infections are now gone and my pc startup time has decreased from like 5 mins to 1 min (FACT) and my paging file usage was upto 1.29 gb but now its back down to 200-300mb (ANOTHER FACT). I hated the old nod32 but this new '4' version is so impressive.
btw this forum rocks! keep up the good work guys

I dont know what...

Seriously, I cant imagine what your doing to get those kinds of infections. I have had to clean my in-laws computer so many times its ridiculous, much like the kind of problem your having. It came down to reinstalling their OS for the third time recently, mainly because they aren't careful with what they do.

The hundreds of viruses/trojans/etc... that you are encountering are coming from somewhere, so where do you think you're getting them?

If you are using ANY form of cracked/ing software then I would HIGHLY recommend stopping that. I wont go so far to say that its why you haven't posted combofix or hijackthis logs, but maybe?

Regardless; Malwarebytes, among other things is a great software tool.

Just remember that an anti-virus program alone is not enough. It also takes the user being careful too. Being cautious where you go, what you download, and what emails you open, and keeping your OS updated are just a few steps to keeping your computer infection free.

Keep in mind that if you have an infected computer, then your computer is acting as an agent to spread infection to other people like your family and friends (& etc....). In an infected state your computer is doing work for the people who wish to do harm on the internet and to others out there. Keeping your computer clean benefits not only you, but everyone online.

I hope that you have truly fixed the problem. But, I for one, really don't appreciate the way that you asked for help here, then seemed to completely disregard and put down the advice you were given. Just my thoughts.

Jesus! What have you been downloading and putting on your pc? Lol. Dont use any of them Spyware doctor things, use a propper Anti Virus to delete and remove any malicious files and harmful content from your computer. And scan files such as .exe before you double click and install them.

Hope i helped :P

dowload ComboFix, download ATF Cleaner, Download Malwarebytes

disconnect your PC from the network so you are NOT connected to the internet.
run combofix first
then run ATF cleaner
and last run Malwarebytes

you get these bugs by downloading software and games from the web, i would stop downloading as you should know nothing is free in this world. good luck
