Help Needed

I've created a 'new folder' on desktop. I've scanned documents into the
'new folder', all the documents were scanned in Microsoft Word '97 format.
I've used Ashampoo burning 6 free software to burn the 'new folder' onto
a Verbatim DVD 4,7gb disk. I was doing quite a few disks, now I can't find that 'new folder' or documents on any of the disks. I deleted the 'new folder'
on the pc.

I'm using Windows xp.

Any help would be appreciated.

You want to know how to find the new folder on the disks, or retrieve them off the PC? If you deleted the folder, you may be able to find it in the recycle bin. If you can't find them on the disks, then it may have been a bad burn. Place the disk in the drive, open up My Computer, then browse to the disk drive location. If the disk is empty, it's possible the folder did not burn correctly.

Thanks for that.

Would windows xp keep a record of Ashampoo, what time and date the program was used? or does windows xp keep a record of new folders created? or word docs created?

I was Burning data to an existing disk with data on it, but aborted early on,
now the DVD disc won't play, so I can read whats on it.

Any ideas?
