Help needed!

Hi, I just bought a new desktop, by parts.

I installed everything right, (I assume, because power gets on, fans run, etc.)

but, when I turn on the computer, three different things happen.

1. everyhing runs right, monitor turns on, windows cd runs, but after a few minutes, the monitor goes sleep mode(computer still running.)

2. computer runs, but monitor doesn't turn on.

3. there are 4 beeps(I searched internet, and it says I need to reinstall? motherboard and have problem on memory), no monitor working.

does anyone have idea what is going on here?

I'm so worried.

Here are my computer brief specs:

ASUS M4A79XTD EVO AM3 AMD 790X ATX AMD Motherboard

AMD phenom x2 965 black edition

2x2g G. Skill rib jaw

seagate 500gb hard drive

ATI radeon 5770

650w antec PSU




fyi, my friend tried my graphic card, hd 5770, and it worked fine. I assume that the graphic card works just fine.

aww, well, I think I found the reason.

ASUS M4A79XTD EVO AM3 AMD 790X ATX AMD Motherboard.

a lot of peaple who have this MOBO, have same issue as me.

ASUS fails here again.
