help needed

havent a clue about computers in need of some help.
ive hooked my pc onto my tv i got the lead and it works watching vidoes and using the internet but i cant get my warcraft game to work on it does anyone know how to get the game to work on the tv (i start the game and it comes up with "out of range" on the top left hand corner of the tv please.

If it's a Sony 32" it is 1366x768. Since it woks with some things and not others maybe it is the display setting in the game itself?

i cant adjust my comp to that though higest is 1024 by 768
