I am new to computers, i have bought Acer ferrari 4002wlmi. It has a AVG anti-virus. I want to know what all softwares to put to ensure security. Also if anyone can talk me on any messenger for a min it would be very kind of you..

To ensure the best security from it, take a look at this sticky:

You basically need a good anti-virus and spyware tool along with a good firewall to keep your pc well maintained from infections. AVG is a good start, just make sure to keep it updated along with Windows updates.
