help needed

I got on my computer like 3 days ago as I would usually do o a normal day. When I power up the tower it looked like it was gonna start normal but a error came up "Reboot and select proper boot device or insert boot media in selected boot device and press a key" can anybody tell me what that means?
 
Did you buy your pc or build it? Make sure you dont have any cd's or floppy's in any drives and then go into bois and ensure it sees your hdd and that its set to boot to it first...
 
Is your HD working properly?
Do you have CD in cd-rom or floppy in the floppy drive? If so remove it.
