Help. New desktop parts

As christmas is coming up I am looking to get some new desktop parts seeing as my computer has become very slow in terms of loading/shutting down as well as in browsing the hard drive.

My current setup:

Amd athlon 5600+ dual core processor
512mb nvidia 8800gt
4gb ram
32bit windows vista
Motherboard Model: MSI MS-7369

I would like to know what parts I need to upgrade to get a better overall system. My budget is around £300

Have you tried backing up your data and doing a fresh install of Vista?

You'd be amazed at how fast a fresh install is.

Backup the important files before you install. Usually I use the mobile hard disk to save files.

Not if you back them up first, as suggested.

You'll need to reinstall all your programs as well, but your computer will run like new again. :good:
