Hi, for starters, please dont answer these questions if you havnt read it all.
My problem, i just bought a PC with 4gb ram, dual ATI HD 3870 and
Intel Core2QUAD CPU Q6600 @ 2.4 GHz (4 CPUs) - 2.4GHz
232 GB NTFS harddrive
And my PC is performing as bad as my old pc with the following spec>
NVIDIA 7600 gt 1gb ram and a poor processor i cannot remember
I have no idea why its getting the same (or worse) Frames per second on a 3d benchmark test with the same settings as the old computer,
I have tried Windows Vista 64 bit ultimate, windows XP professional 64 bit
I got vga drivers and intel chipset drivers from a cd that came with my computer
I installed them, i did not get any error, and the worst part is, the texture in all games are edgy. well not very edgy but since my old pc had better looking texture its not normal. at all
Here is my Computers Full Spec,
Intel Core2QUAD CPU Q6600 @ 2.4 GHz (4 CPUs) - 2.4GHz
Radeon ATI HD3870 x2 Crossfire
Memory 4094MB RAM
ATI radeon graphics processor
Here is what DXDIAG 64bit Is showing me

So a quick summary, thats what my DXDIAG says when i newly installed windows xp pro x64 and installed the VGA driver and intel chipset driver that came with the computer in a cd (i uninstalled vista for the mac looking UI only, had the same poor performance with vista x64 ultimate)
The question, Why is my pc having the same and sometimes even worse performance than my old pc with 4 times worse the ram, useless pice of shit card x1 and an even worse processor..
ive been looking for help, searching. trust me! but i have found no help, so this forum looked like people were helping eachother, so im giving it a shot, please. any help would be So Very Great that i cannot explain in words
my name is hassee and im new to this forum!
ask any questions about my pc or anyting if you are intrested in helping, i would do anything.
So please, WHATS WRONG WITH MY COMPUTER, thanks!
