I must have gotten some type of wicked virus.

It seems to have corrupted any and all antivirus type programs:

Superantispyware
Malwarebyte
Spybot
etc

I have deleted these programs and tried to reinstall them...when I try to run the programs, nothing happens.

If I reboot, I get popups telling me that google installer is having problems and needs to be shutdown
I get that for Yahoo also

I have tried to run hijackthis and it gets dead ended

I tried to go to system restore and all the restore dates are gone...If I try to change the month, nothing happens

Also some wicked ads will play(just audio) at random times. I cannot tell where this is coming from. they last for about 5 minutes. they are like ads for some lowend type tv shows...wierd!

I also get lots of clicks....like popup blocker type clicks

I forgot...I am running Windows xp

time for a reinstall?

Hello:

Download and Run ComboFix
If you already have Combofix, please delete this copy and download it again as it's being updated regularly.
Note: Do not mouseclick combofix's window whilst it's running. That may cause it to stall

Combofix should never take more that 20 minutes including the reboot if malware is detected.
If it does, open Task Manager then Processes tab (press ctrl, alt and del at the same time) and end any processes of findstr, find, sed or swreg, then combofix should continue.
If that happened we want to know, and also what process you had to end.

In your next reply i will need:
  • The ComboFix log
  • A HiJackThis log
  • An update on how your computer is running

Even though Respital advised you to run Combofix, I doubt it will run either since malwarebytes and superantispyware won't run as well. Are you computer savvy? I suggest you take the hard drive out of your pc and slave it in another system and use a virus scanner to scan the infected drive. I recommend using AVG free edition. Once it finishes, hopefully it will have found and deleted the offending files that are stopping the malware programs from running. Put the drive back in your system and finish scanning with Malwarebytes first, then combofix and then run a hijackthis log and come back here and post all 3 logs with an update on how your computers is running.

It doesn't run either...I think!!!

It shows cmbo fix in the task manager as 84k.

Johnb35. I would need to be walked through that but I have another machine.

wouldn't that affect the other machine?

As long as that machine has a fully updated antivirus program running you will be fine. Do you have a computer savvy friend that can help you do this?

I'm battling the same virus I believe. Upon visiting www.anonib.com using google chrome (instead of FireFox3 noscript) I got a BSOD.

Same messages. Disabled all anti-adware. Installed it's own Anti-virus which is recognized by the OS. Somehow it's disabled SAFE MODE. I have AVAST and AVG, and they seem to be freezing, and unable to disable/remove viruses.

I also hear TV commercials every 2-3 minutes through my audio speakers, but no programs running. Advertising for some stupid food network tv show. lol, and pop-ups trying to get me to buy Advanced XP Defender.

of the various viruses/trojans found:
Fraudo
malware-gen
rootkit-gen
agent-QNI
Preald-C
Tiny-II
VB-LYG
LDpinch-CYW

I found all of these AFTER i had allready run like 10 scans and deleted other viruses. Trend Micro house call ect...

At first my computer did random restarts to prevent a scan from completing.

I managed to get the computer semi-stable but still there are proccesses eating up way too much memory, and constant freezing.

I WILL WIN THIS BATTLE!!!!
