I have a

Intel Core 2 Duo E8500 Wolfdale 3.16GHz 6MB L2 Cache LGA 775 65W Dual-Core Processor

and a

EVGA 123-YW-E175-A1 LGA 775 NVIDIA nForce 750i FTW SLI ATX Intel Motherboard

I havnt OCed in a long time but this is my first build that I really want to dedicate some time to.

I know I can OC the CPU to 4.0 ghz without a problem

If anyone has the frequencies and voltz already setup, just post them for me or if you have any advice on how to proceed, let me know.

I also have a

EVGA 512-P3-N871-AR GeForce 9800 GTX(G92) 512MB 256-bit GDDR3 PCI Express 2.0 x16 HDCP Ready SLI Supported Video Card

if anyone know anything about OCing this gfx card, let me know

AND I have

2 G.SKILL 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 800 (PC2 6400) Dual Channel Kit Desktop Memory

8 gigs of RAM for Vista 64bit, if you know how to OC the RAM, let me know..

I want to fully OC this computer, top 2 bottom. I have a CPU Cooling fan so Im not worried about to heat..

Thank you very much CF.com

When you say cpu cooling fan do you mean after market cooler if so which one. why in the world 8 gigs or ram?????

Aftermarket ARCTIC COOLING Freezer 7 Pro 92mm CPU Cooler

8gigs? Why not. 8 gigs cost me 140 bux. lol.. cost investment...

You could have got something like OCZ Platinum 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 1066 (PC2 8500) for 100 bucks and have much better performance. Especially for oc'

ok well i didnt. lol.. i like my Gskillz RAM. 8 DDR2 800's chips is just as good lol.. so its not 1066.. if i wanted 1066, i would have gotten a sTRI SLI MOBO for starters. I like my build...

First off, nice board! I love mine! :D

I can't help you so much with the CPU OC as I haven't tried it with this new board yet, I know there's a few here that have the E8400. Actually, Derek has the E8400 and our board, so I'll wait for him to take a look, he'll hook you up!

As for OC'ing the card... Easy! Honestly, it's dead simple. DL Rivatuner and install it. Then, under 'Driver Settings', go to 'Customize' then 'System Settings'. From there you can increase the fan speed (highly recommend you do this!) and OC the card.

Also, DL 'ATI Tool' for testing stability of the card. Your card is pretty close to mine, so around 800/2000/1000 would be a possibility. That's what I have my GTS at.

TTHNX KORNOWSKI!! I hope he sees my post. if he has the CPU already, then he must know the exact voltage and stuff so hopfully he can post them up.. The gfx card i figured wasnt hard. just didnt know what sofware to DL... Great Help...

Know anything about OCing RAM?

No problem, Dude.

Well, each chip is different, so you can't really guarantee his settings will work with your computer. It'll help though, that's for sure!

OC'ing the RAM is easy, it happens when you're OC'ing the CPU. So there's no real need to worry about that. If you set your RAM divider to 1:1 (sometimes known as 2.0) you'll be pretty much sorted.

If anyone has the frequencies and voltz already setup, just post them for me or if you have any advice on how to proceed, let me know.

You shouldn't just change your mobo fields to match somebody else's configuration. Remember, all systems are different even if all the parts are the same.

Yea I know, it helps though. I could use it as a benchmark for myself and go from there.
Whatever, its all good. I have a nice build and ill figure it out along the way. Wus jus tryn 2 get some quick info.
