Help on ~$800 comp

I'm looking for a gaming computer on a budget of around $800, and while I swore I'd never buy another dell, while messing around on their site I found this deal, and was wondering if I'm just missing something?

Windows XP Media Center
16x DVD+/-RW
Pentium D Processor 820 w/Dual Core Technology (2.80GHz, 800FSB)
256MB nVidia Geforce 7300LE TurboCache
2GB Dual Channel DDR2 SDRAM at 533MHz
250GB Serial ATA 3Gb/s Hard Drive (7200RPM) w/ 8MB cache
Integrated Sound Blaster Audigy HD Software Edition
No monitor/speakers
=$865

If anyone could give some advice on why this is a bad deal or could give me some advice on where else to look, it would be much appreciated.

Edit: Added OS and dvd drive so as to clear up.

That's quite a lot in my oppinion for that system.

I put together a similar rig, but it only costs around 529$.

Intel Pentium D 820 119$
GeIL 2Gb Dual Channel DDR2 533 149.99$
MSI GeForce 7300LE 256Mb 62.99$
Samsung SpinPoint 250Gb SATA 3Gb/s 8Mb Cache 69.99$
ECS 945PL-A LGA 775 65.99$
Linkworld 431-10 C2228 Black & Silver Steel/Plastic ATX Mid Tower Computer Case 430W PSU 26.99$

plus a total shipping cost of 34.73$, so it's 529.68$

And keep in mind, that most of these parts are better than the stuff Dell uses. Like the memory, probably HDD and PSU. Don't know exactly what parts they use so I can't say anything for sure.

Uh.... no. Here is what it would be if you built it yourself.
CPU: $119

MOBO: $97 Most likely way better then dell's. This is a bit expensive too.

Video CARD: $63 Also, this card very much stinks.

PSU: $34 Probably better then dell's and this one is not really the best either.

CASE: What?? some $20 cheap case.
HDD: $90 Can get better ones for same price.

Operating system: around $100 Windows xp
Ram: $140
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16820231081
Total: Around $540
Keep in mind these part are better too.
If you don't want to build it yourself then go to a place like www.ibuypower.com or monarchcomputer.com

But the Dell probably has a DVD drive so that's got to be added too, about 50-70$ for a good one.

Edited the original post to include some things I left out. Thanks for all the replies so far. I'm trying to avoid having to build a computer myself, and I have no real desire to buy dell again. I will definitely give ibuypower and monarchcomputer a look.

Edit: If anyone had suggestions for a different build at around $800, It would be quite helpful too.
