help on how to extend wirless coverage of router

hello folks.i have a wirless router for my home network but i intend to extend the range bu using two wireless routers to service the other pc in the compound.pls how do i do this as regads where to place the other router n the concept of overlapping n non overlapping channels.thanks

Do you already have the second wireless router? Because it would be much easier to just get a wireless repeater.

As the last repy said, just get a wireless repeater to extend the range of your Wi-Fi Network.

Also look at relocating the access point, try to get it near the center of your home, and make sure there are no obstacles blocking the antennas. Avoid having it in the corner room between furniture for instance. You also get better range with a newer 802.11n access point with external antennas.

If you use a 802.11g wireless router, there should be no problem. My wireless router (802.11g)'s range allows my neighbor to connect to it with good strengh.
