Help on making an operating system

Hello, I joined this site at 12:10 PM CDT on Sunday, March 22nd, 2009 because I need help. confused Correction: I need the best advice on making an operating system, but you get the idea. I found the best way on WikiHow (http://www.wikihow.com) but it still isn't enough. As best as you guys can (once again) please give me the best advice as y'all can. Oh, PS: I'm a Texan. (YEE HAW!!!!!!!)

Other than using that it'll be next to impossible. I wouldn't recommend trying unless you use LFS.

Do you have any programming skills? Might be an idea to start lower down the chain.
