help on new computer

hi,
looking to build a new computer with windows 10, right now i'm running intel core 2 duo e8200 @ 2.66 GHZ processor running os XP with firefox,

want a upgrade, amd or intel something faster, little gaming, mostly web, little cadcam,

what the best bang for the money?

You have a budget? AMD would be cheaper but performance really isn't there anymore.

Closer to an I3 performance, I3 would be better. Would recommend saving money for an I5 though.

That amd will do well for me? Would I need a graphic card with an amd?

I3 would be better huh ... could I get a i3 $400? Amd or can I get a amd that will out preform i3 for the same price?

With any decent gaming, you want a video card. I3's are only dual core, I5's are quad core. Depends on what types of games you play. No, you can't get an I3 for $400.

ok Fx4300 is a 4 core and i3 is 2 core and i3 is still better?
