help overclocking my cpu

hello all, im currently wanting to overclock my AMD Athlon 64 x2 5200+ 2.7ghz processor but the problem is.. my motherboard : gigabyte m51gm-s2g wont allow me to overclock in the bios, im puzzled on what to do to overclock, I've tried clockgen, but that didnt seem to work and i tried the official AMD overclocking software but it doesnt support my cpu, any help?

It looks like you need to hit Ctrl+F1 in the BIOS to get into the advanced options of the motherboard. You should have overclocking options there.
 
did you snoop around the bios and look for any advanced options or clicked on the cpu info or anything?
