My friend has a Toshiba A100 laptop with an x1600 with 512mb (turbocache or whatever) in it, running at 398/384ish. We put on omega 3.8 drivers and powerstrip to overclock back up to 470/470, which is what it should be at if Toshiba didn't underclock it.
-We can crank the core up to 470 and beyond, but it makes no difference in the counterstrike video stress test.
-We can crank the ram up only a few mhz before it crashes, but it was a noticable difference at about 7mhz above stock, in the video stress test.
-Is the crashing possibly because of the shared memory turbocache?
-Could the memory be bottlenecking the laptop in games?
Thanks
