Help overclocking!

Hey, I was wondering about overclocking my CPU: AMD Phenom II X6 1055T 2.8GHz ?

What speed would it be able to be over clocked too. and how on earth do i do it? cheers,.

If you don't know how to overclock already, then you probably shouldn't do it. (General rule of thumb :good: )

In any case, all you do is go in the BIOS and up the multiplier ever so slightly, then run a benchmark called Prime95 for several hours to make sure it's a stable OC. Also check the temps and make sure they don't go too high.

It is a bit risky but if you go onto the web and type in Phenom II X6 1055T overclocking guide, you might find a guide that tells you how to overclock it.

It's also dependent on each individual chip and the motherboard.
