Hi I'm trying to find a barebones computer that has a pci express slot and a 478 socket. Is there any computer that has these specs. Please help>
 
I don't believe that any Socket 478 motherboard has a PCI-express slot. Only LGA775 has PCI express. Are you trying to use your current processor? What
s your budget? For $150 you can get a decent processor and motherboard, with a PCI express slot.
 
Damn, I bought a 478 processor and and pci express video card. My budget is between 100 and 150. Where can I buy a barebones computer with those specs?

Where can you buy a barebones computer for 150$ with these specs?
 
You can't buy a barebones computer, but you can buy a decent motherboard and processor for that much.

I wouldn't recommend going with a barebones package, but rather get separate components.

so i can only buy a motherboard for that much. I never assembled a computer from scratch before so i'm hoping it won't be too complicated. I'll have to buy a new computer casing also.

What I am saying is:
Motherboard: $60-75
Processor: $75-80

Building a computer from scratch is quite easy; it just requires a little common sense.
