What are you going to do with the PC?
If you just do some surfing web/ downloading, onboard GPU is OK.
If you want to play some game, however, 8800GS is the min. requeirement IMO.

well, it will be a computer for websurfing, homework, some games, but if i can afford any games that excede onboard video, i will probably also be able to afford a good gpu. But i do know that this computer needs to be dual core. Also, do you know if i should just go intel and get a pentium dual core, b/c i here they are VERY GOOD overclokers. If i go intel, i would probably get the 2.0 or the 1.8ghz petium dual core.

I think intel is the way to go, but it is slightly expensive

Does anyone think i need to get an aditional cooler for the cpu? 1 reveiwer said he was able to oc to 3.0ghz with stock coolling.
And, oscaryu1, could you give a link to the card you were talking about?

1.Does anyone know the power-hockups on the psu that oscaryu1 suggested?

2.Will the mobo he selected work with an e2160, b/c the cpu fsb is 800mhz, and the mobo only supports 1333/1066mhz?

1. I have one in my sig. 24pin with a 12V 4 pin connector... SATA connector... and there's more. Powering everything in my sig. And take in mind, that HD3850 is not energy conserving ;)

2. Yes, it will automatically adjust to it.
