Help Please.

I am selling my computer and i want to erase everything off of it except for the operating system. I have Windows Vista Home Premium. With the disc

Unless your going to include the Vista disk, you can't sell the computer with the OS on it if your keeping the disk. Just delete the partition if your going to do so, otherwise just reinstall vista.

Do a complete format (not a quick one) to wipe all the existing stuff out, then simply reinstall... you'll have to do a *full* reformat because if you don't, the new owner could simply use a file recovery software to dig all your old, "removed" stuff out...

They format the same, all that the full does is check the hard disk for bad sectors.

Pop in your Vista CD and boot to that.
