Help Please

I have been dealing with these slow speeds about 2500kbps ever since setting up my belkin wireless router its model number is F5D7230-4......i use to get 5000kbps.....(this is on my desktop) i am getting super slow speeds...does anyone know what i can do? and those speeds happen when the wireless is not being used on my laptop.....i almost fed up with it and want to disconnect it to see if it can speed up but i dont even know how to do that lol...help.

so to you super slow speeds is 2500kbps ?
My speeds is 30kbps max what will you call that ?
try re-configuring that router of yours... there has to be a wrong configuration somewhere

called my cable provider and they have been having problems with there net...so it was not anything on my side..thanks though.

well when i am paying for close to 5000kbps.....1500 was slow to me....

well, i usually have about 100 kb/s or even less at downloads. Do you thing for me 1000 kb/s is slow? That's damn fast.

wow...i just know from getting 5000kbps to 1500 was way to slow and thought it was on my end. but i called and they said they where doing some testing...
