help please

so a few days i installed windows 7 and all seemed fine but i put in the crysis cd and for some reason my computer doesnt see my cd/dvd drive. it will spin and i used it to install windows 7.its connected through sata. anybody got any ideas on why this is happening?
 
You are well aware that windows 7 is still in beta stage. This kind problem always happen.
Maybe there is driver issue in sata controller.

Have you check device manager to see whether your cd/dvd is there?
 
i checked it and it shows up but only recognizes the cd rom drivers or something like that. anybody else have problems with their sata?
