Help please...

Hello all,
When I try to run Symantic, Spyware Doctor, MalwareBytes, etc...they all freeze on the same exact file & my computer locks up. The only way to un-freeze my PC is forcing the power off. The file is as follows:

c:\My Backup – 09-04-20 1148AM\Documents and Settings\LocalSevice\Local Settings\Temp\Temporary Internet Files\Content.IE\index.dat

Any help is greatly appreciated!

When you start your computer, keep tapping F8 and boot into Safe Mode.

Try your scans again.

emtpy your temporary internet files... go to internet explorer... tools internet options and there will be an option there to remove those.
