help please

hey, i bought a used computer off someone about a week ago 3 days ago i fire it up for my first time and it said something about uncovering memory? then when finished said click enter to read disk (os) but the disk drive wasnt working so i took it apart and looked at i though it was tomuch trouble (the cd drive) for what it was worth. then again i try to fire the computer all fans and lights gosee on nothing on the moniter and no beeps?
i tried the comos (sp?) battery and took ram out the tested still no beeps the reinserted ram and tried on the other moniter and repeted. this is starting to bug me im thinking about bringing it in to stapes tech for $20 /hr

specs below

Ninja 2 case with blue led lights 400w power supply 1 gig ram abit sg80 motherboard the graphics card is an ati radeon 2400hd 256mb 200 gb hard drive.

Could be mobo issue, could be memory, could be all sorts of things. Ask the seller perhaps?

Id contact the seller and tell them you want a refund, if not id contact paypal..

Login to Paypal and cancel the transaction, or reverse the transaction. Or something like that.

i know it can be done, just not sure of the specifics.

Open a dispute(i think thats what it is called) with paypal, to initiate a fund reversal.
