hi i need help choosing a computer both are very similar

i would like to know the differance in cpu and mhz. the gateway has an amd phenom tri core with 2.2ghz
the hp has amd athlon quad core 2.6 mhz

im gonna be playing games on the computer i buy. an updrade in gfx and psu will be need im sure. right now im thinking about the amd phenom.

2600 MHz - 2200 MHz = 400 MHz.
4 cores - 3 cores = 1 core.











Seriously though--Are you asking which is better for you? If so, that depends on your budget and precisely which games you are considering playing. Taking the extra minute to get your point across clearly and maybe even throwing in the occasional punctuation mark might help others be able to help you.
