my computer restarts randomly when im running programs or playing games.

i have:
-syntax mobo
-radeon 9600 series
-3.0ghz ht cpu
-1gb ram (2* 512mb unknown company)
-500watt power supplly
-huge cpu cooler ( cpu around 30 cel)
and cd drive and such.

can anyone tell me wut is wrong with my computer?

that psu shuld be sufficent. do u have an extra psu lying around that u can test?

either your psu is going bad or the outlet your
computer is using is on the same circuit as big appliances
like the frig and what not, they will steal power from the puter

i turned it off and it still restarts randomly when i run programs

hat was happening to my desktop and i had to wipe the system the reason was that it had thousands of viruses

Could be a driver issue. Also, post a HijackThis log in the security forum, Buzz should be able to tell you if theres viruses as skyhigh says.
