Help please

Check to see if the mobo aint shorted!
- check to make sure that the motherboard isnt touching with the case! - this would cause a shortage like "bootup05" said.
- Check to see if the voltage has been set right on your PSU (UK is 230v) but it would damage the PC components if it was set to something else
- Make sure that all components have been pushed together / in the mobo properly.
- the motherboard is a pentium 4 motherboard, make sure you have plugged the 4-pin molem from the PSU into the extra socket on the mobo (pentium 4's need it)
- check this to have a look, its on the left to a heatsink on the mobo!http://www.msi.com.tw/images/product_img/mbd_img/7211.jpg
- if you needed to configure any jumpers, configure them. Most modern technology doesnt need it but its better to be safe than sorry.
- the last thing i can think of is you motherboard has turned itself off as a failsafe (modern mobos do) this could be because of hardware failure with the processor.
