Help Please

hellow all, i have a small problem, every single file i have including folders and individual files is READ ONLY, it is so annoying trying to delete them. after i deselect read-only, it still wont let me delete the folder...do u guys know where i can change the settings of these?

Select files and folders, right click on them > properties > then unselect Read-only, Apply then OK ?

go to the security tab of that folder and see if you have access over it.If no then add you into that group and give full rights...

not really sure if thats your case though

doesn't work either....i m so screwed...
this problem happens whenever i try to update something,

for example, when i try to update the morzilla firefox....it said it can not overwrite the folder because the folder is read only..there must be a security setting somewhere...

Probably stupid question, but are you log on as administrator?
