Help Pleease: Computer Icon Tramform In To Notepad

Hello Guys I Have A Liltle Problem Wich I Dont Know Hot To Fix I Try I Downlaod A Virus Scan Program But Some How It Didnt Wanna Open And I Try Open It Up Manually And I Right Click And Press Open With Note Pad By Mistake And Now Like Almost All My Stuff Is In Notepad File Like ""firefox,adobe Photoshop, Winamp Ect.. Please Help Thanx You A Lot
 
Isn't it irratating to type everything with a capital letter? :P

Anyway, So you're saying that all your icons are notepad ones?

Try going back to a restore point and using another Anti-Virus program.

Start > All Programs > Accessories > System Tools > System Restore

Select one about 2 - 3 days before, it should be Ok then.
 
i try dat but when i click the system restore it open up the notepad with some crazy latter and numbers..almost everything i try to open the nopepad come up ..
